Possibility of an escalation of China-US trade war is seriously increasing - Global Times

According to the editor-in-chief of Chinese news outlet Global Times, Hu Xijin, the situation surrounding the U.S.-China trade conflict is "more tense than the Western media is speculating" despite the fact that the Chinese delegation decided to travel to Washington. 

 "The possibility of an escalation of China-US trade war is seriously increasing," Xijin tweeted out.
