ECB's Weidmann: Central Banks should interpret mandates narrowly

The European Central Bank (ECB) Vice-President Jens Weidmann is on the wires now, via Reuters, making a scheduled speech titled "The role of the central bank in a modern economy – a European perspective" at the University of South Africa, in Pretoria.

In his prepared remarks, Weidmann noted that the central Banks should interpret the mandates narrowly.
