Atlanta Fed: GDPNow estimate for real GDP growth in Q3 falls to 3.8% from 4.4%

"The GDPNow model estimate for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the third quarter of 2018 is 3.8 percent on September 27, down from 4.4 percent on September 19," the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta announced on Thursday.

"The nowcast of the contribution of net exports to third-quarter real GDP growth declined from -0.72 percentage points to -1.20 percentage points after this morning’s GDP release from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and this morning’s advance release on international trade in goods from the U.S. Census Bureau," the bank further added.
