"The US starts the week with the President‟s Day. TIC flow data is published on Tuesday. We will get FOMC minutes on Wednesday. US January CPI comes out on Thursday; we expect a 1.6% y-o-y increase. G20 finance ministers will meet in Sydney on Friday. In Canada, we have retail sales and CPI on Friday."

"In Europe, balance of payments for December and ZEW Survey are due on Tuesday. PMI is out on Thursday. In the UK, CPI is out on Tuesday; we expect it to stay unchanged at 2%. Unemployment rate is released on Wednesday, which we expect to stand still at 7.1%. We will get the BoE Minutes as well on Wednesday; we don‟t see this as a significant headline risk after the inflation report came out."

"In Japan, we expect good 2013Q4 GDP growth number at 3.7% SAAR q-o-q on
Monday. The BOJ meeting is on Tuesday and the Trade balance figures are on Thursday where the market expects a further decline."

"Norway publishes the trade balance on Tuesday. Sweden releases its January CPI CPIF on Tuesday; market expects 0.6% y-o-y. Switzerland releases trade balance data on Thursday."
