EUR/USD fails to gather momentum

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD continues to take hold at the 1.3630 area, unable to pick up momentum in the absence of news or indicators to trigger moves.

The EUR/USD peaked at 1.3650 during the European session but it came under pressure in the wake of disappointing manufacturing output figures in France and Italy and pulled back to settle in a slim range during the last hours. At time of writing, the EUR/USD is trading at 1.3635, 0.1% above its opening price.

EUR/USD technical outlook

"The pair is currently testing the dynamic resistance around 1.3651 and I favor a reversal to initiate a slide towards 1.3540 support zone", said Stoyan Mihaylov, analyst at DeltaStock.com. "Minor intraday support can be spotted at 1.3607".
