EMU: Annual Retail Sales fall 1.1% in April

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Year-over-year Eurozone Retail Sales dropped 1.1% in April, following a 2.2% decrease in March, according to data released today by Eurostat. Analysts expected less decline of 0.8%.

On a monthly basis Eurozone Retail Sales slid 0.5%, down from the 0.2% fall and below projections of -0.1%.
